One More Time With Feeling

Hit up an AA meeting. Watched the Americans lose to the Canucks. Hit up another AA meeting. I slept 12 hours last night of deep, catatonic sleep. My brain feels clear and I know what I need to do.

I'm going to try giving up drinking again.

First the man takes a drink; then the drink takes a drink; then the drink takes the man”.

  1. AA might be good for the temporary but it seems unlikely that it will solve your root problem. Probably not what you want to hear, since you already know you're doing it in vain.

Your drinking, like mine, is an escape, a temporary escape to no solid destination with a round-trip, bringing you back only to have you board again. Find out your root problem dude. It can very well be something to do with self-sabotage. We all engage in it in some form or another, with varying degrees. Usually it's linked to feeling undeserving of something, so assess your emotions closely that lead up to your self-administered poisoning.

Once you can figure it out, you can wipe out the old negative beliefs with positive ones, and my suggestion is using EFT to do so. Yea sure, it seems silly, but man, who gives a fuck, you're doing it for self-improvement and no smart individual would hold it against you.

Whn you dig, you find dirt. But dig a little deeper and you can find riches.

    Good luck man.

  2. Hats off to you my friend. Let me know if you want any support. I'm here for you...digitally.

  3. thanks for the support. we're off to the races.

  4. You should be proud. A true man takes charge. He makes decisions and forces his life into new directions, even when it is hard.
    You did just that!
    Tip to the hat.

  5. Good luck. I truly hope you succeed.
